Alligator Point is a secluded peninsula just a few minutes east of Carrabelle and offers beach lovers beautiful sandy beaches, but no crowds.
Carrabelle Public Beach is just 1.5 miles west of Carrabelle. Here you may enjoy not only sunbathing and swimming but surf fishing. Public bathrooms and covered picnic areas are available.
Dog Island is accessible by water-taxi, boat or plane and this small barrier island offers visitors a choice of exploring marshes and forests, or just kicking back and relaxing on the pristine white-sand beaches.
St. George Island State Park is just fifteen or twenty minutes west of Carrabelle. Here you will find sugar white sands and rolling dunes where you may want to spend your time shelling or just soaking up some rays.
